Sharing Request Backup

Any files uploaded to sharing requests can only be downloaded from the browser and/or device that created the request link.

In the event that a device is lost or browser data is cleared, when creating sharing request links you can opt to download a backup of the encryption keys used to secure the sharing request. This also allows you to access the sharing request files from a different device.

Selecting an option is required, although it is not mandatory to download the backup file and this can be performed later from the Set Requests page.

WARNING

Backup files are encrypted, and can only be used by the owner of the sharing request link. This does not grant anyone else access to your sharing requests.
