Type

The Type field controls what kind of flow you are creating.

Send flow

In the send flow, you can choose between:

• File send: share files for recipients to download.
• Secure message: share a protected message for recipients to view.

Your selected type changes the options shown later in the form and how recipients access the content.

Request flow

In the request flow, type is fixed to File request.

A file request creates a secure upload link that recipients can use to send files to you.
